Our Calling
By the grace of God, Prayingstewards.com was born out of a deep desire to share:
- The Good News of Christ
Matthew 28:16 – (The Great Commission)
[16]Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. [17]When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. [18]Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. [19]Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, [20]and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”Following the great commission given by Jesus those many years ago, we continue to obey his command and share about the amazing grace of God that sacrificed His only son for the sake of the world.
- The Power of Prayer
Colossians 1:9-11
[9]For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. [10]And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, [11]being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully.Prayer is the way in which it is possible to come before God and communicate with Him. But when we come, it is important that we don’t come with a just a ‘wish list’. When we have a deep intimate prayer life, we learn to pray according to God’s will. As a result, our heart changes so that we don’t pray for just the things that we want or think we should pray for but that we begin to pray for what God wants us to pray for and the things He wants. Therein lies the true power of prayer.

Luke 16:11
[11]So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will
trust you with true riches?If God created everything then it holds true that everything belongs to Him. We are just managers of what God has given to us and He has given to us according to His will. Regardless if we have much or if we have little, we wish to continue to give thanks to God for what we have and make sure that we are good stewards, all for His glory.
